The 2015 ACFF Producer’s Campus will be held
Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th at 
the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV.

The 2014 Producer’s Campus will launch Saturday morning, November 1st and conclude in the early afternoon of Sunday, November 2nd.

Workshop sessions for Producer’s Campus 2014 include:

  • Snows of the Nile – Award-winning Filmmaker Nate Dappen takes us behind-the-scenes of his journey to document the decline of the last glacier on the equator.
  • Conservation Storytelling – A panel of industry experts reveals the secrets for telling provocative and inspiring conservation stories.
  • What’s in the Backpack? Essential Gear for an Expedition Shoot – What’s in your backpack as you head out for a shoot out in the field? An experienced shooter shares the essential gear they pack along.
  • Crowdfunding Workshop – Kiley Kraskouskas of Thinking Forward Media shares her expertise for launching a creative and comprehensive funding campaign.
  • Partnering with Non-Profits – Conservation non-profits rely on film and other visual media more and more for conveying their messages. A panel of “insiders” shares opportunities and considerations for filmmakers in forging effective partnerships with non-profits.
  • The Art of the 30-Second Story – Andy Baker, Creative Director for the National Geographic Channels presents strategies for creating and conveying compelling messages.
  • Networking Session – Make new connections and expand your learning as you engage with presenters and other participants in this structured networking session.
