Casandrè R. Cohn
Cassie Cohn was hired as the festival manager of the ACFF in May 2003. Prior to her employment with the festival, she was on the ACFF board of directors for five months. She is a co-founder and producer of the annual High Street Film Festival for its first two years. Now in its fourth year, it is the only festival in the region dedicated to the development of amateur filmmaking. Cassie has worked with the Theater and Music Departments of Shepherd College as a technician, lighting designer, actor and most recently as video director/stage manager for Bully, a joint production between the National Conservation Training Center and Shepherd College. Other projects include a nine-artist exhibition entitled Mass Transit.
During a five-year run, Ms. Cohn also worked for the Contemporary American Theater Festival, where she has had the opportunity to further hone her production and management skills under the direction of theater professionals.
Cassie graduated from Shepherd College with a BA in Mass Communications, a minor in Theater, and an AA in Graphic Design.
