Tim Radford, Producer/Director
National Park Service films
Mosaic of Diversity chronicles Olympic National Park and contains incredible footage of this national treasure. Never Lose Sight of Freedom: Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail is the remarkable story about an historic march and the people who shaped the Civil Rights movement. Radford will discuss his approach to filmmaking, which draws on graphic arts to create his visual style. ACFF director Chuck Dunkerly will moderate the discussion and share his thoughts as production manager and editor on these films.

Lawrence Cumbo, Producer/Director
Tiger/Tigress Productions
Arkansas Anaconda is a hilarious film about an exotic pet snake on the loose in Arkansas and the consequences of the release of exotic animals. Miracle Docs follows doctors performing cataract surgery in remote regions of Tibet, where many people are blinded from the high ultraviolet rays and lack of vitamin A in their diet in their mountain environment. Cumbo is an ACFF director who has previously presented his award-winning films Drowning New Orleans and Tornado Intercept at ACFF events. Join us for a reception honoring former ACFF president David Lillard following the film.

Richard Squires, Writer/Director
Crazy Like a Fox
Starring Roger Rees and Mary McDonnell, the film is set in nearby Virginia hunt country. It is the fictional story of farmer Nat Banks, whose family has farmed his land for seven generations, and now faces its loss to development. It sets love of land, heritage and history against the modern challenges of preserving all three. Crazy Like a Fox was a hit at the 2006 American Conservation Film Festival.
