Conservation Video Camp

Co-Sponsored by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society

The Conservation Video Summer Camp is being co-sponsored by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society and in partnership with Shepherd University for high school students in grades 9-12.  The camp will be held on Shepherd University campus on June 25-29, 2018, 9am-4pm.

During this exciting week, students will learn the art and technique of making videos about conservation and the environment. Tools, supplies, instruction, and field experience will be provided so each participant can create a short conservation-themed movie. No experience required. Videographers will use i-pad and i-movie software, which is provided for the week if not owned by the camper. The week will finish with a reception and screening of the campers’ films.

Cost: $250 for PVAS Members, $270 for non-members
